We arrived in Marseille and then set off for Carcassonne. The following day, as we headed to Avignon, we drove across the stunning Millau Viaduct. We spent five nights in Avignon during the Christmas week, exploring the Camargue, Arles, Uzes, Pont du Gard, Villeneuve-les-Avignon, and the charming villages of the Luberon. On our journey to the Côte d'Azur, we took a detour to visit the breathtaking Gorges du Verdon. After spending the night in Manosque, we made our way to Nice, where we celebrated New Year's Eve and enjoyed a three-day stay. From Nice, we ventured out to Menton, Monaco, and drove along the scenic three corniches. We also spent a few days in Cannes, using it as a base to explore Antibes and Saint-Tropez. Our adventure concluded with three days back in Marseille, where we took the opportunity to visit Aix-en-Provence before catching our flight home from Marseille airport.
