December 2006 - January 2007

In December 2006 and January 2007, we embarked on an unforgettable journey to Cuba, beginning our adventure in the vibrant city of Havana. After spending a few days soaking in the sights and sounds of the capital, we decided to hire a car and set off on a road trip to explore other beautiful locations like Santa Clara, Remedios, Cayo Coco, Camaguey, Holguin, and Baracoa. Unfortunately, our adventure took an unexpected turn when we had an accident involving a horse.

Due to the limited availability of rental cars in Cuba, we adjusted our plans and continued our travels using public transport and taxis. Our journey took us next to Santiago, then to Sancti Spiritus, Trinidad, Cienfuegos, and back to Havana to ring in the New Year. After celebrating, we headed out to Vinales, Pinar del Rio, Varadero, and finally ended our trip at Cayo Largo, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
